Contempora Apartments - St. Moritz

Overlooking the valley, lake and mountains, enjoy your loved ones in a spacious and tranquil environment.
Well exposed to the sun, unlike houses lower in the valley, the apartment is located a few turns above the center of the village, in a private and silent road from busy St Moritz, with indoor parking spaces. Close to ski lifts & trek routes.

Enjoy being amongst the first in the valley to be kissed by the sun while having breakfast. This is Munt Sulaj, the sunny mountain in local dialect.

Other than being very luminous, the living room, dining room and two bedrooms have great views with balconies overlooking the valley, lake & mountains.
The spacious 2-piece living room will give everybody enough space to play, relax and enjoy joyful meals prepared in a fully-equipped kitchen with an oven, electric kettle, dishwasher, fridge and freezer.
Also the third bedroom, with three single beds, has plenty of space to work & play. All rooms have big wardrobes, ideal for longer stays or simply keep the rooms tidy.
Comfort is also given by a TV with DVD reader, a stable WiFi connection, two convenient bathrooms with bathtubs & showers, as well as two separate toilets rooms that avoid long queues, a washing machine in the apartment, access to the building's common laundry room with dryers and two indoor parking spaces in a nearby garage (garage height 207cm).
There are also two indoor parking spaces available (it's possible to rent a third with due notice) and a private ski-room to store your skis and keep your boots warm and dry for the morning.

As you may have noticed from the photographs, the house is located on the mountain side, directly above St. Moritz Dorf, the center of the village.
We recommend arriving by car and taking advantage of the 2 parking spaces included in the rent, but we have welcomed various guests and families without cars who had a great time.

To enjoy a car-free holiday, you need to plan ahead. Here is a general overview:
For skiing, the nearest funicular station is Chantarella (10-minute by foot) on a lightly uphill limited traffic road with great views over the valley. It has a direct connection to Corviglia Ski Station, where you can rent skis and have fun on the slopes of St Moritz and Celerina.

From Chantarella you can also reach Salastrains (+10 minutes on foot) to enjoy a sunny day and local restaurants, or take the Heidi Flower trail for a wonderful and easy walk, even in mid winter.
The center of the village, where you will find public transportation, the nearest grocery store and much more, is a 15-minute walk through "Via all'Alp", a pedestrian path and stairway. It is very well kept of course. However, consider that the way back is more difficult as it is all uphill.
The nearest supermarket is the Coop in St Moritz Dorf (2 minutes by car), while the largest is the Coop in St Moritz Bad (7 minutes by car) and has free indoor parking. Coop also offers a home delivery service.
