Cà dei Brenta is in the ancient village of San Fedele, 15 minutes from Lake Como and Lake Lugano. Built in 1700, this cozy house is on the first floor, with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, all with frescoed ceilings, a living room with kitchen (Smart TV and Wi-Fi) and views of the forested mountains of the Intelvi valley, an ideal location for mountain sports (nearest path 50m), cultural visits and simple rest.
THE SPACE
Andrea Brenta, a patriot and leader of the Risorgimento, lived in this complex with frescoes and plaques portraying him in the courtyard, where part of the house overlooks.
With frescoed ceilings, the house comfortably accommodates 4 people and is composed of an entrance hall, double bedroom with wardrobe, bedroom with bunk bed and wardrobe, bathroom with bathtub and shower head, living room with three-seater sofa, Smart TV, dining table with 4 chairs and equipped kitchen (dishwasher, gas hob, traditional oven, autonomous heating).
You will have exclusive access to the entire apartment, while the laundry room is shared with 2 other apartments and is 10 steps from the front door.
We will provide precise instructions to allow you to be independent and we will be available during the day and evening for any eventuality.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING
San Fedele Intelvi (CO) Municipality Tourist Tax in force from April to October:
- € 1.50 per person (adult) per night for the first 7 days;
Payment to be made after booking.
LOCATION
The village is very quiet and center of the village is in 7 minutes by foot, where you will find typical shops, from bars to restaurants, from pastry shops to bakers, from the pharmacy, to the bank and the supermarket.
In the immediate vicinity, some houses and the first path 50m away from which you can reach a viewpoint and why not, the summit of Monte Luria through its forest. The Intelvi valley (Val d'Intelvi) is in fact renowned for its natural beauty, offering great treks with views of both lake Como and lake Lugano, to mountain bike tours, to climbing and canyoning routes, to panoramic places such as the Sighignola peak, defined as " the balcony of Italy". Once you have access to our local in-house guide.
Lake Como and Lake Lugano are 15 minutes away by car (20 by bus) and allow you to further extend the choice of daily activities, such as discovering the historical and cultural legacy of the Comacine masters, who from the 12th to the 18th century built and decorated numerous churches, palaces and monuments throughout Europe; from Parma to St. Petersburg and from Milan to Munich.
The Intelvi valley is distinguished by the art of Scagliola, or the imitation of marble and marble inlay using variously colored plaster mixtures, of which several examples can be seen in the valley.
